The past few months have been super busy with opening Shipshape Studio, and my to-do list filled an A3 page at one point. It's easy to panic and feel overwhelmed when you have lots to do and sometimes you can end up getting little done. I've found that organisation really is the key! It may sound a bit boring, but planning is the way to go. Working towards set goals helps me to stay focused and having a daily to-do list means that I can clearly see the tasks I have to complete that day. I also like that sense of accomplishment that comes from crossing something off my list as I feeli like I can let it go and move on to the next thing.
Sometimes to-do lists can seem like a bit of a drag and are easily lost , especially if, like me, you scribble them hastily on backs of envelopes. I thought something a bit more appealing that can be pinned-up would help so I've created a neat to-do list that you can print off and use each day to keep on track. It's got some tick boxes so you can tick off tasks as you complete them - very satisfying! There's a section for important info, such as email and web addresses, that you might need that day, and a section to put things that you need to check on tomorrow. There are 2 daily to-do lists to a page, printed landscape, and they don't use much ink so you won't be draining your cartridge on each one.
This is the first time I've created something like this for download so please do let me know if you like it!
Please note that they are for personal use only, and cannot be used for commercial purposes or offered as a download on your site, although you're welcome to link to this post.
Do you have any time-managing tips? How do you stay on top of your workload?
